The Hundred Club of Detroit is the first and original Hundred Club. Founded in 1950, the mission of The Hundred Club is to provide both immediate and lasting support for the surviving spouses, children, and families of Police Officers and Firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty. Our Club covers over 120 communities across Metro-Detroit, as well as the entire State of Michigan for State and Federal Agencies. We have been there for 298 families throughout the last 75 years. In total, The Club has disbursed over $10,000,000, including $3,484,319 through the Scholarship Fund to help fund higher education for the widows and children of our fallen first responders. We operate quietly, with dignity and respect for those we serve, believing that what we give is not charity, but a public debt owed to our community’s heroes.

Since being incorporated in 1952, The Hundred Club has expanded from serving only the City of Detroit and its neighboring areas to covering more than 100 communities across Southeastern Michigan. In addition to Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb Counties, the Club also extends benefits statewide to all Michigan State Police and Federal Officers serving in Michigan.
